This wedding was FUN! From the moment I met Alan and Julia (I went to the wrong cafe, ran back to meet them, sweaty mess – hawt!), I knew their Roxy Cinema wedding would be everything you want in a special day: quirky and geeky, full of laughter and drink, and many loved ones watching and cheering them on.
Their ceremony was so fun to craft – Harry Potter and Star Wars references galore, and Julia and Alan will hold a special part of my celebrant life as they were my first couple that opted for a handfasting too. There were so many little special touches that they thought of too – from the Dr Who chocolate favours to the 3D glasses and popcorn containers for the group shots. Alan had a custom waistcoat from Rembrandt while Julia stunned in Ettia by Maggie Sottero altered by my fab friend Zowie Dee.
Special shout out to Candy Capco for her amazing shots and Stiletto Studio for the stunning themed cake. These are two of the best vendors in the biz and they did not disappoint! Thanks team!

Testimonial: Miranda was the best choice we made of who to have involved in our wedding day. She took the time to meet us way in advance of the day to get a sense of who we are both individually and as a couple, she suggested a reading for the ceremony which matched up with us so well. She tailored the ceremony to make it a truly ‘us’ experience and incorporated all our nerdy references and inside jokes. We had laughter, tears and smiles throughout our ceremony which was perfect. Miranda played ringmaster for us before and after the ceremony including helping with some of our photos. We felt like she really got who we were and what we wanted out of the day.
