Elinor and Simon – 30 November 2019

I promise to appreciate you and support you. I promise to try not to take my hanger out on you.

I promise you honesty and gratitude, and to always sing Celine Dion in the car for you.

I know I am unbelievably lucky standing right here in front of you. You help to make me better every day, and I strive to do the same for you.

And, I promise to always share my food with you.

I’m a sucker for a bride with two dresses. Swoon! Beautiful dresses by Rue de Seine from Paperswan Bride and Made with Love from Bluebelle Bridal with sleeves added by Lyn McGruddy. BUT I’m more of a sucker for two genuine people, who having found each other, just want to be married. Everything else seems to melt away when they look at each other.

Ellie and Simon are two of the most genuine, warm, caring couples I have ever had the pleasure to meet. They booked me a long time out from their day and that epitomises how organised they were, and it showed in how perfect their day was because of their organisation and their passion for all details. The Milk Station was the perfect canvas for their wedding, and it was styled amazingly by Mindy of Twig and Arrow. From the moment Ellie walked down the aisle, the tears started flowing by everyone. We laughed, we shed some happy tears, and we were all left with a sense of reverence and anticipation for everything these two will accomplish as a married couple. There were many people attending this wedding, and the benches were full to the brim, but it felt like the most intimate wedding which is a testament to Mindy’s styling.

It was also my first time working with two A++ vendors who are recommended among all of my contacts: Danelle Bohane for photos and Ben of Sink or Surface for video. The talent these two have is amazing, bit even more than that, their genuine warmth and kindness working with me for the first time was amazing. I found two new vendor-friends this day!

The other vendors are not to be forgotten as everyone came together for an amazing day:
– Suit: Crane Brothers
– DJ: Hype Entertainment
– Hire: Made Lovely Hire, Mustard Folk, Arch-Hire, Tble Linen
– Rings: The Village Goldsmith
– Bridesmaids Dresses: RUBY
– Groomsmen: Harford’s Menswear
– Stationery: Just My Type
– Catering: Simply Food
– Desserts: Purewei & Cake It ‘Til You Make It
– Hair: Amber & Co
– Makeup: Fiona Crossett
– Neon sign: Radikal Neon
– First Dance: First Dance Wellington
– Favours: Fortune Cookies NZ

Congratulations to you both! May you continue to ace life side-by-side, and I can’t wait to see your adventures and taking the world by storm as Mr and Mrs x

Testimonial: We contacted and booked Miranda a whole 18 months before our wedding – her bubbly nature and inspiring outlook on love meant we knew she was the celebrant for us.
From the very beginning of our communication with Miranda she became known as not only an experienced celebrant and a helpful wedding vendor but also a friend. She was personable and professional but also incredibly light-hearted and she sure made us laugh.
Miranda is someone who will go the extra mile to ensure your wedding ceremony is everything you want it to be. Our ceremony felt seamless, relaxed and enjoyable – exactly how we wanted it to feel. Miranda is also a thoughtful and trustworthy administrator – she printed our vows and readings for the day and even posted them to us after the wedding as a keepsake.
We cannot thank Miranda enough for all her hard work and would recommend to her to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you again.
