A lot has happened since Ms Gorgeous Mess & Mr Intensely Dishevelled met 6 years ago. Messages exchanged from London, then a 3hr drive from KL-Kulai for a picnic in a dried up waterfall was the first of many trips together.
This wedding was rather special. It combined so many elements of John and Vynce, their cultures, their families, their identities, and their love story full of jazz clubs and adventures! It was simply a pleasure conducting this ceremony and liasing with the bride and groom in Malaysia, and working with Qingster Photography on the day.
This international couple celebrated their marriage at their unique Eastbourne castle with a few close friends and relatives. I worked alongside a translator for the entire ceremony, and the wedding ceremony followed a traditional tea ceremony. And I can confirm that their rings were unique and outstanding; the rings were stunningly made by Christine the goldsmith on Waiheke Island! The guests were treated to delicious morsels of food from Blue Carrot Catering and Seasalt Cafe in Days Bay. Jutta at the Ministry of Flowers in Eastbourne took care of the beautiful florals.
Lovely testimonial: “Vynce & I were looking for an unusual celebrant for an unusual wedding. With both of us well over the usual concepts of a wedding we wanted someone who could help us create a flexible ceremony, focussing on getting the important things right, eschewing tradition but not losing significance. This was slightly complicated by the fact that we live in Malaysia and didn’t meet until a week before the ceremony! Miranda was always up for the challenge and her energy & enthusiasm helped create the perfect day. We would thoroughly recommend Miranda to anyone taking a trip down the aisle, off the balcony, or wherever!”
