Zoe and Dan – 26 January 2019

There is not a day that goes by that I do not want to share with you. The mundane and normal days where we cook, clean and do groceries. The quiet days where we stay warm at home playing board games and watching Netflix. The adventurous days where we explore, try new things, or jump on a plane or train to get lost in a new city.

All of these things I want to continue sharing with you, every day and forever, as we build our lives together.

Weddings are about celebrating your love in front of your biggest supporters. This was a new venue for me and Wallaceville Church (established in 1893) was beautiful, rustic and filled to the brim with loved ones. And Dan and Zoe has some amazing supporters who had travelled from around the globe to celebrate with them – UK, London, Taiwan, and USA. I actually only met the couple the week of their wedding as they live in the UK, but it was so natural and I’m lucky to have a couple of new friends!

It was a special ceremony looking out at the packed family church, all smiling with love for the newlyweds. Zoe looked smashing in a two piece outfit, with perfect flowers from Juliette Florist and styled by Dollhouse Do, and Dan scrubbed up very well too 🙂 This little historic church has been part of Dan’s family for many generations and there were even photographs of great-grandparents featured in the back room. Very special.

They partied into the night at the InterContinental and everyone went to sleep happy , filed with good food and good drink, and reflecting that they witnessed one of the best matches the world has seen! Check out some of the ceremony pictures by Bryony from Newfound below.

Wishing Mr and Mrs L all the best as it was an absolute pleasure being their celebrant xx

Beautiful testimonial: Miranda is THE BEST. My wife and I planned our entire Wellington wedding from overseas (which was pretty tough) so we hadn’t actually met Miranda in person until a week before the big day. Stress levels were running high; but as soon as we sat down to speak to her, we were put immediately at ease. She helped us plan the ceremony, talked us through the process and afterwards we both thought “wow, we’ve made a great choice – she is so kind, genuine, and organised!”. We really appreciated that Miranda was willing to travel to the ceremony rehearsal, which was in Upper Hutt Wallaceville. On the wedding day itself, she was super organised, sorted out the groomsmen, gave a beautiful speech during the ceremony, and helped out immensely with the family photos afterwards. By then end, it felt like we’d known her for years. If you’re looking for the most amazing celebrant in Wellington, you’ve found her! Thanks so much Miranda.
