Beautiful testimonial from Melanie: I was given Miranda’s name from a friend of a friend who was disappointed because she had not able to use Miranda at her own wedding. She was right to be disappointed, Miranda is amazing. After meeting Miranda we almost instantly (and simultaneously) knew she was the right person to marry us. She is warm, genuine, calm, organised, professional, open-minded and just plain fun.
Andrew and I entered into wedding planning with a very cynical mindset about weddings. Her enthusiasm and very professional approach helped dispel our concerns. She never told us what we ‘should do’ but encouraged us to do things exactly the way we wanted to and helped us coax out a day that was perfect for us. She gave us the tools to put together a great ceremony and stepped in with the exact right words to encourage us when we were feeling anxious. Andrew was worried about writing his vows. Miranda coached him through this and the result was truly beautiful vows that had the whole room in tears (possibly even our amazing celebrant). With Miranda’s guidance we put a lot of ourselves into the ceremony and the result was an incredible, almost cathartic experience for us. We were also surprised to find we had a lot of fun!
We have received many compliments about the ceremony. One of my favourite comments was that we weren’t married BY somebody, we married each other. Miranda enabled us to do this. I can’t imagine achieving a similar result with anyone else. Miranda genuinely cared about what she was doing and it showed. Several of our guests were surprised to learn she was not an old friend.
I really cannot recommend Miranda highly enough. She helped us construct the wedding of our dreams that we were not even aware we wanted. Thank you so much Miranda.
