I love every little thing about you. I love that your toast has to be cut into soldiers or it immediately becomes inedible. I love that you can make a pun out of literally anything. I love that you can sing One Week by the Barenaked Ladies at karaoke without missing a beat.

It’s a pretty special feeling when friends get married. It’s an honour being asked to officiate their marriage ceremony. In this case it was doubley-special as these amazing humans have been married TWICE – first as a civil union partnership and then as a married couple! An excuse for two parties and we had a ball for this celebration.

The day started off rainy and overcast which meant plenty of moody photos. The lead up to the day was a bit stormy which heightened the anticipation for all! However, the weather cleared for the ceremony at Woodside Estate in Hamilton and the day was topped off by an amazing sunset and some phenomenal star photos. Isaac from Perspective Photo + Cinema captured the four-seasons-in-one-day to perfection and it was a delight working along side him and you can check out the amazing gallery of photos here. Kerr and Ladbrook did a great job of catering and the girls were dolled up by the Sample Room in Cambridge.

Mel and Duncan, it was an absolutely pleasure and your photos warm my soul. The dance floor of epic proportions will be burned in my memory as will the love in your eyes when you said your vows to each other. I’m lucky to count you both as friends. Bring on the vow renewal haha!
