I love the life we have created together. I love the crazy way your brain works, like your ability to manipulate any song lyrics into something hilarious. … You make me feel special, like I’m your everything.
I promise to show that same care and consideration for you for the rest of my life and to love you unconditionally, even when we may disagree on something. Like whether Australia or New Zealand is better in any sport.
Back before a global pandemic disrupted plans, I had the honour of officiating Lara and Adam’s wedding at Lismore House in Martinborough. It was my first time here and it did not disappoint. A large private house, set amongst the vines and beside a private lake, right in the heart of wine country. Put up a Stretch Tent marquee, order some food and drink, and BOOM you have a beautiful wedding destination.
I stumbled across some of their beautiful photos the other day and I couldn’t believe I never posted any! So we are taking a wee time travel back to November 2019 to relive Adam and Lara in all their wedding glory. They met ten years ago on Hamilton Island, fell for each other, travelled through Europe for three years, and created a life and a home together. Their wedding was intimate and stunning. From gorgeous nervous family members playing ‘Latch’ by Sam Smith for Lara to walk down the aisle, to hustling guests for photos, to seeing Adam look his gorgeous bride with pride in his eye … Add in both of them relocating from Sydney to Wellington and starting new jobs. 2019 was a big year for Lara and Adam!!
Enjoy this wee sneak peek including blooms by He Putiputi! I fell in love with these two all over again writing this wee flashback.
