I take you to be my partner in crime, the person who I dance with, and laugh with. You are my comrade and my person, together we will face whatever life may bring. I will be the witness to your life, the good, the bad and the mundane.
Despite being a Wellingtonian for my entire working life, this was the first time I have had the pleasure to officiate at Te Papa. Thanks to DeAnne and Graham I celebrant-ed a 1940s-inspired ceremony full of laughs and sentimental love goodness while listening to the crooning sounds of the a-may-zing The Hustle Duo. The beautiful bride was wearing a Zowie Dee custom dress, the bridesmaids’ dressed in Miss Crabb, hair and makeup by Veronica Zhou, and flowers by The Wild Flower. The boys scrubbed up nicely thanks to Barkers and the beautiful rings were the Village Goldsmith. I have it under good authority that the party continued into the night with the Hustle Duo and later with Ma Shot Pa while dining on delicious food and cake by Stiletto Studio!
Larissa from Fineline Photography snapped away and there was something very special about this urban venue captured by this fantastic photographer. I’ll let the photos below do the talking …
Testimonial: “We wanted to thank you for being a rockstar celebrant. How can we thank you enough. You made our wedding so very special. The ceremony was full of love and laughter. Everyone has said you captured the heart and soul of our relationship in the ceremony. People have said it was the best, if not one of the top 5, ceremonies they have been to! We agree. There was so much love and laughter, there were uniquely “us” jokes and moments. You were awesome and so much fun to work with. And hats off to being a mum and being so very well organised. We loved every minute. Again thanks so very much we thoroughly recommend you.”
