Tis the time of year to start exclaiming “wow, where did the year go?” and start practicing writing the year of 2022 rather than 2016 which I swear was only last month! Sk8ter Boi was released 20 years ago so the years are falling away FAST!! This post starts the trip down memory lane of wedding spam from the past year. These flashbacks make me so so happy, and I’m sending love to all my gorgeous couples after a weird two years!
First up, my final wedding weekend Skinny Love Weddings before these amazing wedding planners hung up their tools for the foreseeable future. Wellington Anniversary Weekend 2021; 23 and 24 January 2024. Makara Chapel was wonderful, we saw all seasons of weather, blooms supplied by Twisted Willow Florist, and the cakes once again were from Sweet Bakery and Cakery.
Mele Photographs was our wonderful photographer for Saturday. Her bubbly attitude was fabulous to kickstart the busy weekend
Ryan McCauley was co-opted into our crew (again!) for Sunday’s weddings. He’s now moved to Christchurch, so you South Island people are in for a treat!!
Kent Chua Photography also joined us for one wedding too at the couple’s request.
Congratulations to Lisa and Dion; Mike and Julia; Loran and Chris; Jacqui and Bryan; and Sasha and Vaa! It was a pleasure being your celebrant and helping be part of our journey together. Congratulations also to Rachel and Raymond as, while I wasn’t your celebrant, I still helped the Skinny Love Wedding crew and had a fab time witnessing your love! Hope your first 11 months of married life has been full of loved up goodness!!
Feast on the wedding goodness from Mele and Ryan below!!
