Sam and Andrew – Petone – 3 November 2012

It was a stormy windy day on Saturday 3rd November 2012 – think typical Wellington weather – but that didn’t prevent Sam and AJ from getting married in Petone in a small, private gathering with family and loved ones. This was a beautiful heartfelt wedding with the groom almost in tears with happiness and the bride having made the decorations, invitations and wonderful bridesmaid’s dresses.

Check out the bride’s blog about her special day and the lead-up to it.

Testimonial: “Three months out from our wedding day and we had no celebrant! We had asked around and everyone seemed to be busy on the 3rd – who knew it was such a popular wedding day! Even when we enquired through official celebrant websites we still couldn’t find one that seemed to understand our situation and how we wanted our special day to be. One day, our friend Duncan suggested Miranda and she was perfect from the start. We wanted a friend, a professional and someone with a sense of humour, we found these qualities in Miranda. She helped us understand how the ceremony was supposed to run and let us put our own spin on it. We went from wedding stress to wedding bliss after our first meeting! She was incredible on the day, organising a crash course on how to walk down and isle for the confused bridesmaids, keeping us all on track when some of the decorations hadn’t arrived and she deserves a glass of wine after managing to keep the bride (and groom!) calm. I absolutely recommend Miranda, and with two more sisters still unmarried I’m sure she will be our family celebrant! Andrew and Sam Jones.”
