May we have a long and happy life together full of adventures, picnics, camping and at least one family snow boarding holiday.
This was a simply beautiful wedding at the Rowing Club on the Wellington Waterfront. It happened to be on one of the hottest days of the year so we were all struggling with the heat but our hearts were bursting with love for this family and happy tears just spilled over unannounced. Not ones to naturally take the limelight, Rob and Naomi’s wedding was beautiful, rustic, and full of smiles. Family travelled from across the globe and I hear that the Schiehallion Ceilidh Band were amazing and families partied into the night.
Ryan McCauley from Anna Munro Photography took beautiful photos; the cake by Tanja at Royal Icing Academy was delicious; yummy Catering Studio food and drink; and Mindy at Twig and Arrow did an amazing job (as always!) with the flowers.
The dress that Naomi wore had a rather special history: It was first made for her mum’s wedding in 1978 and Lorene Harris Dressmaking and Design altered it so it suited this new occasion. Topped off with hair and make-up by Natalee Fisher, Naomi looked amazing next to Rob in his dashing Rembrandt suit.
Testimonial: “Thank you Miranda!! We were so clueless about how to write vows, get a licence, plan a ceremony…and you helped us do it all. Thank you for helping to personalise the day so that it was exactly what we wanted. You are so good at what you do, thank you for being our celebrant X”
