Peace Garden – 27 March 2018

I promise to care for you and to always be there when you need me.

I promise to take care of you, to bandage you up when you’re hurt, to talk absolutely everything through with you whether you like it or not, and to tell you off when you’re annoying – but still forgive you after that.

This was such a beautiful, peaceful and intimate wedding. A few family members and I gathered in a semi circle, with the Peace Garden in the Botanical Gardens behind us, and witnessed these two pledge their lives together as husband and wife. This is such a lovely garden in the heart of Wellington symbolising New Zealand’s efforts against atomic weapons and presented to our city by the people of Japan. The ceremony was photographed by a new addition to the Wellington photography scene, Johanna of Merenheimo.com, who beautifully captured this peaceful milestone before they celebrated as a couple with a delicious Shed 5 dinner. Makeup by Debz Powell of Smashbox.

Wishing you both all the best for your future and hope that the house search brings you to the northern suburbs! 😛

Testimonial:

“We couldn’t have asked for someone more enthusiastic, helpful and professional to help plan our wedding ceremony. From helping us find a new photographer two weeks before our wedding to standing in a carpark for 10 minutes to secure a spot for the bride – we couldn’t have done it without Miranda! We highly recommend Miranda to others looking to have a hassle-free, personalised wedding day! Miranda, thank you so much for being our celebrant. The ceremony went smoothly and was stress-free for us both thanks to you!”
