Laura & Garrett – 14 January 2017

“Turn together to look at the road you traveled, to reach this—the hour of your happiness. It stretches behind you into the past. Look to the future that lies ahead. A long and winding, adventure-filled road, whose every turn means discovery, new hopes, new joys, new laughter, and a few shared tears.” …

Wow, these two blew my mind. Right from the first contact we clicked and we collaborated with two of my favourite local wedding vendors: Anna Munro Photography and Of Noble Nature. There was plenty of banter between us all due to the Wellington vs Palmerston North vs Australia divide! They planned an amazing day and I was honoured to officiate their beautiful wedding at one of my favourite venues Old St Pauls. There was a super special moment in the ceremony where we recognised Laura’s paternal and maternal grandparents who were both celebrating 60 years of marriage and her parents celebrating 33 years of marriage. Some amazing role models to help maneuver through the marriage journey!

Thanks for choosing me to be part of your special day. I will remember your wedding as a highlight!

Testimonial:

“Miranda is amazing. She went above and beyond the duties of celebrant. We live in Brisbane but Miranda made planning a wedding from across the ditch a breeze.
The words she suggested for our ceremony were beautiful. She also came up with awesome ideas for other aspects – the map on our service sheets detailing the route between the ceremony location and reception venue (with places to stop for refreshments noted!) was a hit with our guests.
We really appreciated Miranda staying after the ceremony to assist with some professional photos. She even had a go at taking some herself! Her recommendations for vendors were spot on! We can’t thank her enough for helping to make our wedding day the best day of our lives.”
