I promise to dance and sing with you, even when I slow down I promise to keep up. I promise to be an honest and faithful husband. We both dream of having children and I promise to be a strong dedicated farther who puts his family first, and to love, cherish and protect our family always.
You make me laugh harder than I ever have before, you make me smile wider than I ever did before you. You are my soulmate, and I truly feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have someone who loves me the way you do.
Sometimes you meet a couple that just leave you warm and fuzzy. The way he looks at her, she looks at him when he’s not looking, and the way that everyone else around them is better because they get to see this couple ace their lives together. A couple who make your life brighter because you got to help play a wee part of their amazing love story. Nate and Hannah are this couple.
When I first met Hannah and Nate, I knew we would hit it off. They are loving, strong individuals who are better together than apart. They simply wanted their hospo friends and their beautiful whanau to have fun with them on their wedding day, and acknowledge their commitment to each other. A mixture of love and laughter, of calming love and of powerful belonging.
Ohariu Farm was the perfect for choice for their wedding day and I still remember Hannah’s tears of happiness walking down the aisle. Little did she know that Nate was tearing up to, and there was not a dry eye in the front rows!! Their wedding day was full of pops of colours with beautiful flowers, dresses, and humongous smiles. They were presented with a precious wedding bible and we talked about how much she loves his love of dogs and how he appreciates the way she folds his socks. Their wedding photos by Macona Images make me smile remembering the beautiful supportive atmosphere.
Shout out also to Salon Savoy (hair), Hollymakeupartistry (makeup), Queen Sally Diamond Deli (cake), Concrete Flowers (florist), and Aaron Andis (music) who helped make their day so special.
Thanks for choosing me Nate and Hannah – here’s to many more beers and toasts in the future since I’ve stolen you as friends!! xx
