Today in front of our family and friends I promise to go fishing as long as you take care of anything slimy and stinky, and to pretend to show interest in horsepower, engines and custom modifications even if I have no idea what you are talking about sometimes…
I vow to never leave my hunting boots inside after you have spent all weekending cleaning and I vow to spend every day growing this marriage in to something special
I spend much of wedding season wondering if it’s going to rain, or if it’s going to be fine. I try to do rehearsals for both situations … But it’s always the way that if we don’t get to practice one then BOOM that’s the one that will happen on the day!
It was a last minute call whether to have Haley and Nick’s ceremony at the beautiful location that is the Lodge at Pauatahanui Inlet … We braved the weather and while the brisk southerly wind made an appearance, our hearts were warm. We laughed and we celebrated a great couple and their future journey – just another step in their 7 year relationship to date! Check out Mel Waite Photography‘s beautiful snaps below of the ceremony and some snaps around the venue and the beautiful Inlet.
I have it under good authority that the food was amazing, the cake was beautiful, everyone had a great time and danced the night away!! Wishing the Moorcocks all the best for their future and thanks for having me (and my sparkly gumboots!) along for the ride xx
