Evelyn and Nick – 24 March 2018

I love that you laugh at my silly jokes, excellent dance moves, and valiant attempts at cooking scrambled eggs. I love your ambition and perseverance in all the things you do. I love planning our lives together…

I promise to always be by your side, no matter what life throws at us, the good and the bad, even if there is a world chocolate shortage… I’ll always be here.

Wanaka put on an absolute stunner for this wedding weekend and we all gathered to watch Nick and Evie to pledge their love together after 14 years of being together! We had such an amazing weekend celebrating these two wonderful people and partied the night away with Mojo Band from Queenstown. Evie’s mum got married at Edgewater Resort too and it was only fitting that this was the scene for these nuptials (and Evie’s mum did the beautiful flowers!). The ceremony location was beaut-i-FUL and, as I looked out at everyone’s smiling faces in the crowd during the ceremony, I knew we were all behind this couple 100%.

Simon Darby Photography took amazing photos (featuring Wanaka Helicopters!) so check out the sneak peek below! Check out the amazing earrings made by Evie for her bridesmaids and the funky engagement rings commissioned by Nick featuring each turangawaewae – AMAZING! Delicious cake was made by Peppermint Kitchen, Evie was dressed to the nines in Kelly Lin Couture Auckland, Evie’s mum is an amazing florist (Katy Lam Florist), and Nick was dashing in a Rembrandt suit.

Evie and Nick, it’s a pleasure being your friend and we loved celebrating with you both. You looked so happy andit was a prefect weekend. Looking forward to racing minis in the future! xx

Testimonial:

“Thank you Miranda for saying yes to being our celebrant! We couldn’t be happier and would full heartedly recommend Miranda to all.
Leading up to the wedding she guided us through all the logistics, kept us feeling composed and even helped us through some wedding planning hiccups. Miranda is extremely well organised and on the day was the driving force behind keeping the ceremony on time and running seamlessly. We were so lucky to have her. Miranda did such a fantastic job on writing our ceremony. She listened to us, asked all the right questions to ensure our ceremony reflected who we were as a couple. As a result our ceremony was just perfect, truly capturing our personalities, with the right balance of sentiment and light hearted humour.
Thank you Miranda for all your help, we loved sharing our big day with you. X”
